For all of his immense movie-making talent, Studio Ghibli co-founder Hayao Miyazaki doesn’t have a reputation as an outgoing, gregarious sort of fellow.

Similarly, Evangelion creator Hideaki Anno often comes across as a guy who’s more comfortable expressing himself through his art than in direct face-to-face conversation.
