Hiroko Reijo's Children Novel "Wakaokami wa Shogakusei!" Gets TV Anime Adaptation in April

The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Hiroko Reijo’s children novel Wakaokami wa Shogakusei! (The young landlady is an elementary school student!) opened today for an April 8 premiere on TV Tokyo and its affiliates, and posted a first 90-second PV introducing the voice of the 12-year-old protagonist Oriko “Okko” Seki by Seiran Kobayashi (Eshime in Space Dandy).

The story centers around Oriko “Okko” Seki, a sixth-grade elementary school girl.

The novel series was published from Kodansha’s children novel imprint Aoitori Bunko for 20 volumes from 2003 to 2013, and has sold over three million copies in Japan.
