G’s “Tate Anime” (Vertical Anime) app began streaming a promotional video for its anime adaptation of Kōichirō Matsushita’s Hitori Gurashi no Shōgakusei (Latchkey Grade Schooler) manga on Friday.
Takarajimasha published a two-volume sequel manga titled Hitori Gurashi no Shōgakusei Enoshima no Sora in May and November last year.
The Hitori Gurashi no Shōgakusei four-panel manga debuted in 2014 in Amazon’s Kindle ebook service, and centers on an impoverished nine-year-old grade schooler without a single relative and who lives in a dining room.
The app is aimed at people who do not have time to watch television or do not own a television.
