This year’s sixth issue of Kodansha’s Morning magazine announced on Thursday that Yoshihiro Yamada’s Hyouge Mono manga will get a live-action adaptation.
Having learned from Oda and the legendary tea master Sen no Sōeki, Furuta walks the way of the “Hyouge Mono.”
The series also earned an Excellence Prize in the 13th Japan Media Arts Festival Awards in 2009.
The manga won the Grand Prize in the 14th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prizes in 2010.
