The manga centers on Furuta Sasuke (Furuta Oribe), a vassal of the great warlord Oda Nobunaga and a man obsessed with tea ceremony and material desires in his pursuit of a fortuitous life.
Having learned from Oda and the legendary tea master Sen no Sōeki, Furuta walks the way of the “Hyouge Mono.”
This year’s 48th issue of Kodansha’s Morning magazine revealed on Thursday that Yoshihiro Yamada’s Hyouge Mono manga will return with its “last spurt” on November 2.
Yamada launched the manga in Morning in 2005, and Kodansha published the manga’s 24th compiled book volume on June 23.
