The ILCA anime studio (Yamishibai: Japanese Ghost Stories, Kowabon) opened a website on Monday to reveal a new original television anime series titled Sengoku Chōjū Giga (Sengoku Wildlife Caricatures) that will premiere in October.
The series will air on KBC TV, tvk, TV Saitama, Chiba TV, and Sun TV.
The anime will use a sumi-e (traditional Japanese ink painting) motif, and will feature Japan’s famous Sengoku-era warlords as animals.
