Isuzu Shibata's Mawaru Penguindrum Manga Ends in January

  • The Twitter account for the editorial department of Gentosha’s Monthly Comic Birz magazine announced on Tuesday that Isuzu Shibata’s manga adaptation of the Mawaru Penguindrum anime will end in the March issue on January 30.

  • The original anime from director Kunihiko Ikuhara (Revolutionary Girl Utena, Yuri Kuma Arashi, several Sailor Moon television series) aired in 2011.

  • Isuzu launched the manga in the magazine in 2013, nearly two years after the anime premiered.
