The film has earned 1.6 billion yen (14.64 million USD) in total so far, and is expected to be top-grossing film in the MHA anime franchise soon, surpassing the second film My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising (2019 / 1.79 billion yen).
Its total gross has already reached 4.7 billion yen (43 million USD) on 3.41 million admissions, making it the director’s second top-grossing film, surpassing Wolf Children (2012 /4.22 billion yen).
