Its four-week total has reached 1.9 billion yen (14.96 million USD) on 1.4 million admissions to become the fourth top-grossing Japanese anime film of 2022, surpassing The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie, which ranked eighth in its seventh weekend with a total gross of 1.77 billion yen (13.93 million USD).
The 25th Conan film has earned a huge 9.1 billion yen (71.63 million USD) on 6.53 million admissions in 12 weeks and is expected to be the second top-grossing in the Conan anime franchise soon, breaking the total box office record of the 22nd film Detective Conan: Zero the Enforcer (2018 / 9.18 billion yen).
The 120-minute film was released in 121 theaters across Japan (13 theaters more than The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie and 30 theaters less than Teasing Master Takagi-san: The Movie), then made 351.4 million yen (2.77 million USD) on 250,000 admissions over the three days from Friday to Sunday.
