Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe announced on May 14 that the State of Emergency to combat the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic will be lifted early in 39 prefectures.
The committee agreed with Nishimura’s assessment and he got the confirmation by the special coronavirus taskforce to cancel the State of Emergency in the 39 prefectures.
