Japanese Fans Pick Their Favorite Androids, Cyborgs And Other Fake-Humans

  • The 70 characters suggested came from a pool that was 59.1% male, 67% in their teens and 20s.

  • Androids (or cyborgs, or other mech-beings) have had a long history in anime.

  • In a new 10,000 reader poll, Charapedia paid tribute to the classic character type, asking fans for their favorite.
