Japanese Fans Pick Their Top 20 "Endearing Depictions of Romance" in Manga & Anime

  • The polling demographics were fairly evenly split by gender, with men making up 51.6% of the voters and women making up 48.3% of the voters.

  • The polling took place from May 12 to May 18, 2016, and some 10,000 fans participated by picking their favorites from a pool of 84 possible choices.

  • Love is in the air, because a recent online poll on Charapedia asked Japanese otaku to vote for their favorite “endearing depictions of romance” in manga and anime.
