Japan’s Kadokawa Games and Shanghai-based Alpha Games announced on Friday that two companies are forming a production committtee to make an anime of Kadokawa Games’ Starly Girls -Episode Starsia- smartphone game.
Kadokawa Games is credited with the original concept and production of the anime, while Alpha Games will distribute the anime in China.
The game itself is a joint production with the international game company Aeria Games.
Friday’s “Alpha Games Beijing Presentation” event revealed that Osamu Yamasaki (Toward the Terra, ItaKiss, Hakuōki) is directing the anime for distribution slated in 2018.
