The September issue of Kadokawa’s Asuka magazine published the final chapter of Tomo Takabayashi and Temari Matsumoto’s Kyo Kara Maoh! manga on Saturday.
The manga is based on the Maru-Ma light novel series, also written by Takabayashi with art by Matsumoto.
Funimation rescued the license and distributed the anime once again in North America, although the company’s license for the series expired in 2011.
The novel series has spawned 22 volumes composed of the main story as well as side stories.
