The official website for Chimamire Sukeban Chainsaw Red, the new live-action film adaptation of Rei Mikamoto’s Chimamire Sukeban Chainsaw manga, revealed on Tuesday that the project will consist of two films that will both open in Japan on February 22 with 4DX screenings.
Mikamoto launched a second manga titled Chimamire Sukeban Chainsaw refresh in Comic Beam on September 12.
The first film is subtitled “Nero no Fukushū” is subtitled “Geeko no Kakusei” (Geeko Awakens).
The original manga centers around Geeko Nokomura, who is in a lone struggle to confront her classmate Nero Aoi.
