The official website of the live-action film adaptation of Shi-ko Suzuki’s Onna Hierarchy Teihen Shōjo (a girl at the bottom of Onna Hierarchy, or “A Girl at the Bottom of the Female Hierarchy”) manga revealed on Wednesday that the movie will start screening in Tokyo’s Cineka Omori on May 28.
In addition, a stage play adaptation of the manga will run in Shinjuku’s Theater Moliere from May 25 to 29.
Suzuki’s original manga centers a a high school girl who is the “lowest in the hierarchy” at her school.
The film already premiered during the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival in February.
