Film production and distribution company Toho announced on Thursday an anime adaptation of Shunji Iwai’s 1995 live-action film Uchiage Hanabi, Shita kara Miru ka? Yoko kara Miru ka?, which will open in theaters in Japan on August 18, 2017.
The 50-minute film was first aired on Fuji Television in 1993 as the 16th episode of an omnibus live-action drama series titled If Moshimo.
