The manga has inspired various spinoff manga, a television anime adaptation in 1982, and the Patalliro! Stardust Project anime film in 1983.
The Patalliro Saiyuki! spinoff manga also inspired a television anime series in 2005.
The official website for the live-action film of Mineo Maya’s shōjo comedy manga Patalliro! revealed the film’s June 28 opening date on Tuesday.
The series later switched to Hakusensha’s Bessatsu Hana to Yume magazine, Melody magazine, and Hana LaLa Online website.
