Asō launched the manga series in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2012 after drawing one-shot versions of the story in Weekly Shonen Jump and Jump Next! magazines in 2011.
The Mainichi Shimbun newspaper’s MAiDiGiTV YouTube channel began streaming a television commercial for the live-action film of Shūichi Asō’s Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan (The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.) manga on Monday.
The film’s official website also streamed three new videos on Saturday, which began appearing before trailers in film screenings that day.
The manga inspired an anime series that aired within the Oha-Suta (“Good Morning Star”) program beginning last July.
