The series will premiere on January 7 at 9:00 p.m. Hiroaki Matsuyama (Liar Game: The Final Stage, Liar Game: Reborn), Hideyuki Aizawa, and Toshiyuki Mihashi are directing the series, and Tomoko Aizawa (Kagi no Kakatta Heya) is penning the scripts.
The manga is a crime suspense story set in a forensic laboratory where researchers work to uncover clues from small details.
Fuji TV’s website for Trace: Kasōken no Otoko (Trace: The Forensic Researcher Man), the live-action television series adaptation of Kei Koga’s Trace: Kasōken Hōi Kenkyūin no Tsuisō (Trace: Recollections of a Forensic Researcher) manga, revealed the main visual for the series on Monday.
Koga, who has previously worked in a forensic laboratory, launched the manga in Tokuma Shoten’s Monthly Comic Zenon magazine in January 2016.
