He previously became CEO of AQ Interactive Inc. in 2010 and then of Marvelous, Inc. in 2011, later becoming Vice Chairman in 2016.
Marvelous, Inc. announced on Monday that its current Chairman, President, and CEO Haruki Nakayama will step down from those positions on June 18, and current Vice Chairman (and Executive officer of Amusement business of Marvelous, Inc.) Shuichi Matoda will take over as Chairman.
Motoda previously worked for Sony and CAPCOM before joining AQ Interactive Inc. (which later became Marvelous, Inc.) in 2007.
Takaki also served as representative director of Marvelous’ Honey∞Parade Games subsidiary, which Marvelous formed in 2017 for the production and promotion of the Senran Kagura series.
