Meet Kondo, Hijikata, Okita in "Gintama" Live-Action Film Coming in July

  • He was born as the eldest son of kabuki actor Kankuro Nakamura V (later Kanzaburo Nakamura XVIII) in 1981, then succeeded to his father’s stage name in 2011.

  • While working as a kabuki actor, he has taken part in many television dramas and films.

  • The casting was decided by recommendation by Shun Oguri, who was cast as Gintoki Sakata. the protagonist Moyuru Honoo.
