  • A classic picaresque manga about two immortal humans and the quest for immortality, or monstrosity, granting mermaid flesh that drives the people they continue to encounter and interact with.

  • The art is freaking gorgeous, and the stories are poignant and often moving to the point of tears. The final duo of issues in particular in this collection – that story will linger for awhile.

  • Can’t wait to consume the second collected volume. Fantastic review copy sent to The Artifice by Viz Media.
