Monster Hunter: World launched worldwide on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 26, and shipped 5 million copies worldwide (including digital sales) in its first three days to set a new franchise record.
CAPCOM announced on Friday that the Monster Hunter: World game has shipped 6 million copies worldwide.
The Monster Hunter game series debuted in 2004, and as of Friday has sold a total of more than 46 million copies.
The game is the fastest game in CAPCOM’s history to reach the 6 million mark.
