The Japanese entertainment news website Natalie reported on Friday that Kōhei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia manga franchise (including the manga, novels, spinoffs) has 13 million copies in print.
Shueisha published the 17th compiled volume of the manga on Friday, and also published the third volume of Anri Takashi’s Boku no Hero Academia UA Hakusho novel series, as well as the third volume of Hideyuki Furuhashi and Betten Court’s My Hero Academia: Vigilantes spinoff manga.
The Twitter account for the franchise had revealed in March 2017 that the manga franchise has 10 million copies in print.
The manga has inspired two television anime series.
