Shueisha opened a website on Sunday to announce that Yuki Midorikawa’s Natsume’s Book of Friends (Natsume Yūjin-Chō) manga is inspiring an anime film that will premiere in 2018.
The fourth home video release with the first OVA shipped on September 27, and the fifth home video release with the second OVA will ship on October 25.
The anime seasons and Midorikawa’s original manga revolve around Natsume, a boy who has been able to see yōkai since he was little.
The website confirmed that voice actors Hiroshi Kamiya and Kazuhiko Inoue will return to play Takashi Natsume and Nyanko-sensei, respectively.
