Brace yourselves ladies, because more handsome samurai from Japan’s warring states period are coming your way, as the samurai mobile game by CYBIRD, Ikemen Sengoku, is getting adapted into both an anime and a manga.
The anime adaptation is slated for 2017, though we still don’t know if this will be a TV anime, a movie, or will be released as an OVA.
The original smartphone game, which is also getting ported to the PS Vita, follows a female protagonist who was suddenly sent back in time to the Sengoku era.
The event also announced the game’s manga adaptation, which will be done by mangaka Mika Kajiyama, and serialized inside the pages of Monthly Princess Magazine.
