[NEW ANIME] Samurai manga, Chiruran: Shinsengumi Chinkonka, is getting a TV anime

Manga artist, Eiji Hashimoto, has taken to twitter to feature an early look at Vol. 16 of his and writer Shinya Tokuma’s historical samurai manga, Chiruran: Shinsengumi Chinkonka, and that early look has revealed one very important announcement.

According to the manga artist’s tweet, Chiruran: Shinsengumi Chinkonka is getting a TV anime, though he did not go into the details of it much.

The Shinsengumi may have been parodied in works like Gintama, however, the real historical group has remained one of Japan’s most notorious groups of swordsmen.
