The X (formerly Twitter) account for Kadokawa’s B’s-LOG COMIC magazine announced on Friday that the new television anime Anne Shirley, an adaptation of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s classic Anne of Green Gables novel series, will itself get a manga adaptation by Akane Hoshikubo (Hōkago no Salome, Sonogao de Ai Sanaide).

The manga credits the staff of the animation series Anne Shirley for story composition, and credits the Anne of Green Gables novel series as translated by Hanako Muraoka for the original story.
