Motomiya’s latest work on the manga is titled Salaryman Kintaro Gojūsai (Salaryman Kintaro 50 Years Old), which ran in Weekly Young Jump from 2015 to 2016.
The staff for the live-action films for Hiroshi Motomiya’s manga classic Salaryman Kintaro revealed the full trailer on Wednesday for the first film titled Salaryman Kintaro Akatsuki-hen (Salaryman Kintaro Dawn), along with a main visual for both films.
Ballistik Boyz perform the theme song “Get Wild” for the first film Salaryman Kintaro Akatsuki-hen, while GENERATIONS perform the theme song “Cozy” for the second film Salaryman Kintaro Sakigake-hen.
The manga has been running on and off in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine since 1994.
