JAGMO (Japan Game Music Orchestra), the first orchestral group in Japan devoted solely to playing video game music, were on hand for this major first in NHK history.
The NHK Music Festival has been running since 2003, but this is the first time in its history that any attempt has been made to put on a show of video game music.
Originally performed at NHK Hall on October 23, the program features 50 pieces of video game music, from Final Fantasy to Pokemon.
