Nico Nico, the largest Japanese video hosting service operated by Dwango, conducted an online survey with its users via its “Nico Nico Enquête” system to find out who the most popular character in the Kemono Friends TV anime was on March 31, one day after the anime’s final 12th episode was streamed.
The anime’s 1st episode has been viewed over 4.87 million times in three months, and its final 12th episode was viewed by an amazing number of 276,789 people with 1,250,413 comments during the 30-minute period.
The YAOYOROZU-produced series has become the biggest hit anime series in the streaming service’s history.
