To celebrate the legacy of the company, Nintendo will be opening a gallery on the site of its old Uji Ogura Plant in Kyoto.
Nintendo decided to make the site into a museum after Uji City had announced plans to redevelop the area around the local Ogura Train Station.
The Nintendo Uji Ogura Plant opened in 1969 to manufacture Nintendo’s classic Hanafuda cards and regular playing cards.
