A live-action film adaptation of writer and manga creator Chokkaku Shibuya’s Okuda Tamio ni Naritai Boy – Deau Otoko Subete Kuruwaseru Girl as protagonist Kōroki Yūji, as well as Kiko Mizuhara as Akari Amami.
The film is slated to open in Japan this year, and it will use Tamio Okuda’s music throughout the soundtrack.
The original manga’s story centers on Kōroki, a 35-year old man who uses the life of Japanese singer and songwriter Tamio Okuda as a guide for his own life.
Shibuya and Fusosha published the manga as a single long-form volume in July last year.
