It has been confirmed that the One Piece anime franchise’s 14th feature film ONE PIECE STAMPEDE had earned an impressive 3.05 billion yen from the 2.31 million tickets sales in nine days since its release on August 9, which was seven days faster than the 13th film ONE PIECE FILM GOLD that spent 16 days to cross the milestone.
The franchise’s top-grossing film ONE PIECE FILM Z released in December 2012 earned 3.18 billion yen on 2.61 million admissions in its first ten days, then made 6.87 billion yen from its total domestic run.
It was also the fastest record for a film distributed by Toei since 2000.
