The manga is titled Phantasy Star Online 2 Episode 0, and Kiyu Kibako will draw the manga.
Phantasy Star Online 2: The Animation, a television anime series based on the game, premiered last January.
Sega released the free-to-play Phantasy Star Online 2 role-playing game for Windows PC in Japan in 2012, followed by a PlayStation Vita release in 2013, and an Android and iOS release in April and May 2014, respectively.
The March issue of Kadokawa’s Shōnen Ace magazine revealed on Thursday that the magazine will launch a new manga based on SEGA’s Phantasy Star Online 2 game in the magazine’s next issue in February.
