Niantic announced on Thursday that Ghost-type Pokémon from the Hoenn region will debut in its Pokémon GO smartphone game for this year’s Halloween event.
Baby Pokémon from Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver, the game’s first second-generation Pokémon, debuted in December.
The new Pokémon will be the first in the game from the main game series’ third generation.
The Pokémon GO app launched in select countries including the United States in July 2016, and has since launched in more than 50 countries.
