Pokémon GO on iOS No Longer Has Full Access to Users' Google Accounts After Update

  • The Pokémon GO app launched in select countries last week, and has since launched in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

  • The new update presents new dialog boxes that clarify to users what information they are granting access to the app.

  • The company announced on Saturday that the app is now available in 26 additional countries, but not yet in Japan.
