Pop Team Epic Anime Casts Mikako Komatsu, Sumire Uesaka

  • The official website for the television anime of Bkub Okawa’s Pop Team Epic manga revealed on Wednesday that Mikako Komatsu and Sumire Uesaka will voice the characters Popuko and Pipimi, respectively.

  • Uesaka will also perform the opening theme song “Pop Team Epic” for the series.

  • Komatsu and Uesaka will appear at the event with kigurumi (plush costumed) performers of Popuko and Pipimi.
