Pre-orders for Evangelion-Colored Millennium Mechagodzilla Begin

The refined Mechagodilla, called as “Kiryu” (means machine dragon) in the story, appeared in two Millennium films: Godzilla × Mechagodzilla/Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla (2002) and its direct sequel Godzilla × Mothra × Mechagodzilla: Tokyo SOS (2003).

Bandai’s official online store Premium Badai today starts accepting pre-orders for two new Evangelion × Godzilla crossover items: 320mm-tall figures of Type 3 Kiryu from the two Mechagodzilla films in the Millennium series, with coloring of Eva Unit 01 and 02.

The collaboration has been realized because Hideaki Anno, the creator of the Evangelion franchise, is now working on the upcoming Shin Godzilla/Godzilla Resurgence film as the screenplay writer and supervising director.
