The eighteen-volume manga series had its anime picked up in the 90′s by AnimEigo where it got VHS, LD and DVD releases for the OVAs, movie and TV series.
Discotek Media previously picked up the rights to the series, OVAs, and the first feature film, and TV series and have been getting ready for the streaming side of it.
Kyōsuke falls in love with Madoka, and Madoka wants to return those feelings, but can not because of Hikaru’s involvement with Kyōsuke.
