Ryo Minenami's Boy's Abyss Manga Gets Live-action Drama in September

It is confirmed today that a live-action drama adaptation of Ryo Minenami’s Shonen no Abyss / Boy’s Abyss manga is set to premiere on MBS’ “Drama Tokku” programming block on September 1, 2022.

16-year-old Towa Araki (Enishi Yukishiro in his childhood in the Rurouni Kenshin: The Final live-action film)is cast as the protagonist Reiji Kurose.

Self-serving adults and broken dreams push a teenage boy trapped in a dead-end town closer and closer toward the abyss.
