Shin Ultraman Beams Past 4 Billion Yen at the JP Box Office

The second-highest Ultra film is the 2008 Superior Ultraman 8 Brothers film at 838 million yen; Shin Ultraman made more than that in those first three days.

After becoming the highest-grossing Ultra film in the franchise in its first three days, after 45 days, Shin Ultraman has brought in over 4 billion yen (US$30.95 million) at the Japanese box office with 2.69 million tickets sold.

Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi’s Shin Ultraman film has made its impact on the Japanese box office and the entire franchise, by being one of the biggest films of the year and the biggest film of the Ultra series.
