Shirodaira and Mizuno previously published the mystery manga Spiral (Spiral – Suiri no Kizuna) which ended 2005, and the Spiral: Alive prequel manga, which ended in 2008.
The series inspired an anime adaptation in 2002, and FUNimation Entertainment released the series on DVD as one of its earlier titles.
The story takes place in the city of Tokui, which has a legend of two monsters.
This year’s April issue of Square Enix’s Shonen Gangan magazine announced on Saturday that writer Kyou Shirodaira and artist Eita Mizuno will end their Tengai-san wa Angai Futsū (She is more ordinary than I expected) manga in the next issue on April 12.
