Square Enix first announced the Final Fantasy VII remake in 2015 and the Kingdom Hearts III game in 2013.
Square Enix president and CEO Yosuke Matsuda revealed at a financial results briefing session for Square Enix Holdings on May 11 that the Final Fantasy VII remake and Kingdom Hearts III games are slated for release in about the next three years.
The official Twitter accounts for the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts franchises revealed new screenshots for both games in February.
Kingdom Hearts III is slated for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
