The promotion includes: a social media campaign with 100 lucky winners taking home SNES-themed limited edition packages of THE STRONG Sparkling Spring Water; a special video; an augmented reality game for smart phones where players can scan a QR code, take a photo of their bottle of THE STRONG, and then play an ice-breaking “test of strength” challenge with either Ryu or Chun Li; and a Street Fighter II tournament to be held at the Mikado Game Center arcade in Ikebukuro in which players can win THE STRONG Sparkling Spring Water as a prize.
Video game developers Capcom and food & beverage company Suntory have revealed an unusual new collaboration campaign entitled “The Strong Fighter II” which mashes up Capcom’s classic fighting game Street Fighter II with Suntory’s THE STRONG Sparkling Spring Water brand.
