Nintendo announced on Tuesday that its Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game sold 3 million units in the United States within 11 days of launch, making it the fastest-selling Nintendo Switch game of all time in the U.S. and the fastest-selling Super Smash Bros. game.
Prior to launch, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was the best pre-selling game for the Switch and the Super Smash Bros. series.
Nintendo previously reported that the Switch had sold 8.2 million units as of November 26, according to Adobe Analytics.
The lifetime sales of the Nintendo Switch in the United States have surpassed 8.7 million units as of the end of November according to the NPD Group, which it claims makes it the fastest-selling current-generation console.
