Yen Press has also licensed Kawahara’s original light novel series, the Sword Art Online: Progressive novel series as well as the manga series, and the Sword Art Online: Aincrad, Sword Art Online: Fairy Dance, Sword Art Online: Girls Ops, and Sword Art Online: Mother’s Rosary manga.
The manga will adapt the Alicization arc of Reki Kawahara’s original Sword Art Online light novel series.
Sword Art Online: Phantom Bullet manga artist Kōtarō Yamada posted on Twitter on June 9 that he will draw the Sword Art Online Project Alicization manga, starting in the 51st volume of Kadokawa’s Dengeki Bunko Magazine, which comes out on August 9.
Yamada’s two-volume Phantom Bullet manga adapted the Phantom Bullet arc of Kawahara’s light novels.
