Nishikawa first sang his “Zips” and “ignited” theme songs from the various Mobile Suit Gundam Seed projects, followed by a cover of Daisuke Inoue’s “Ai Senshi” (Soldiers of Sorrow) theme song from the second film in the first Mobile Suit Gundam film trilogy.
Before his final song of the day, Nishikawa noted that it has been 15 years since the second Gundam Seed television series, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny, aired.
At the end of his set, he reported that he asked the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed anime’s staff about the announced Gundam Seed film project, and relayed that it is “moving along.”
The first Mobile Suit Gundam Seed television anime aired from 2002 to 2003, followed by Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny from 2004 to 2005.
