Tokyo Broadcasting System and Mainichi Broadcasting System have announced that they will be bringing their 30 minute Sunday evening animation block “Nichigo” to a close and replacing it with a new 60 minute Saturday morning animation block entitled “Anisata” that will begin in April of 2017.
This marks the first time TBS and MBS will have an hour-long early morning Saturday animation block since 1983, when they ran a programming block that included Super Dimension Fortress Macross and Warrior of Love Rainbow Man.
The new animation block “Anisata” will air at 7:00 AM JST.
